Fashion blast from the past
One of my favorite threads on The Fashionspot forums is the Vintage Ads Archive which features advertising campaigns from the past (circa 60's- 80')s. Looking at these images just proves the fact that fashion really moves in cycles. It seems that the designers of today are just recycling the old designs; I can spot Stella McCartney, Balmain, Givenchy, Alexander Wang and Ann Demeulemeester snapping ideas from the images below. The funny thing is, without the crazy hair and makeup I could probably rock all these beautiful outfits this fall, especially that crazy leather dress.

If the fashion is the same, so are the models! The time of "supers" was suppose to be over, and whatwhatwhat... Christy, Linda, Cindy, Claudia, Eva - they are all back :)
Anonymous: I totally agree! I think we are seeing the new rise of all the 80s and 90s super models. I think we have been missing the whole "super model" term lately with all the androgyny skinny girls taking over the runway (which is not a bad thing but different).
Thank you for your regular comments!
I have added you a long time ago, you are my fave inspirations lately ;)
Because "Vintage Elegance" is Timeless, just like a subtle stylish paradox !!! And asymmetrical cuts really are the (eternal) quintessence of "High-Class GLAMour" . . .
Amazing pics! MODEL with capital letters
