I'm not a huge fan of festivals. Large crowds make me uneasy and there are always stupid drunken people ruining your experience by splashing beer on you or pushing through the masses with angry fists. In spite of my detest, I did attend Friday's Flow festival in Helsinki, and I'm really glad I did! Seeing Kings of Convenience play live was mind blowing and Erlend Oye was exactly how I pictured him to be, geeky yet cute. Also, I was once again spotted by a reader who wanted to say hi which was a really sweet gesture, but how on earth do people spot me in the huge masses is a mystery.
I decided to wear something that I could easily turn into a warm outfit for the night time. One of my missions in Stockholm was to find a pair of acid washed jeans. I saw the jeans back in January but for some reason I didn't get them then. After seeing them on Agathe from Stylebytes a few months later, I really regretted my decision to leave them behind. This time I just had to get them, no matter what. So, here they are, my new acid washed jeans.

Jeans: Cheap Monday
Shirt: Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair
Sweater: Sunday Sun
Shoes: Wedins
Crow pin: from Weekday
I did not actually wear the wedge platform shoes at the festival but I did wear them to go shopping on Saturday. So if anyone was walking the streets of Helsinki, you could have spotted me in this very outfit topped with a black "avant garde" rain cape which I will introduce sometime later. I swore I wouldn't buy anymore clothes since I blew the budget in Stockholm, but I did end up getting a Martin Margiela shirt (on discount) and some H&M Trend pieces, such as a new fall coat.
Oh and I'm sure most of you have already seen these but I just can't be more excited about the first looks of Comme des Carcons for H&M!
