The skyscraper boots
I recently got these crazy platform wedge boots from eBay but I'm thinking I should modify them a little bit. They are quite flattering to the legs in this length but I'm hesitating whether or not I should shorten the leg to make them look something more like these Vivienne Westwood boots or the Rick Owen wedge booties. I guess I'll just see how they work with different outfits and see if the shortening is necessary or not.

I personally wouldn't mess with them, but that's just my opinion. If you feel confident shortening them, then fine.

I think they'd look great short, but they look just as fantastic long so I wouldn't risk anything going wrong!

I think it depends on which length you will get the most use out of. I would let that guide me.

Too hard, too hard... Maybe I'd shorten them. But wait... I don't remember if you have any "normal lenght" boots? Only shorter (Fendi) and over knee (don't remember the label) ones. Or do you?

Nyt vasta pääsin matkan jälkeen lukemaan uusimpia postauksia ja tärkeimmäksi asiaksi nousi saappaasi. Ehdottomasti lyhyeksi. Mustien pillien ja prätkärotsin kanssa nappiyhdistelmä.
Juu, ehkä nuissa on vähän liikaa toisaalta srippariviboja (takaapäin, kun korko näkyy) tai ysärimeininkiä (edestä kun plato on noin paksu) kun saappaat on kokopitkät. Mutta voihan vitsi kun noi ois mageet nilkkamittaisina! Kattelenkin nuita koko ajan nilkkurimittaisina silleen että kuva on ihan ruudun yläreunassa ja varsi rajautuu pois..:D Mutta nilkkureina nuo toiminee vain siinä tapauksessa että ne on nilkan kohdalta tarpeeksia kapeat sun jalalle, eli katkaistu varsi ei jää liian leveäksi. Mutta jos varsi on riittävän kapea, niin onneksi olkoon! Noista tulee vielä ihan killerit! Että suutarille vaan! :)

Anonymous: Hei toihan olikin hyvä konsti katsoa miltä noi näyttäis nilkkamittaisina. Olen kotona yrittänyt vaikka millä tavoin rullailla noita varsia, jotta näkisin miltä näyttäisivät. Olet oikeassa, mulla kun on tälläset lasinilkat, niin varsi ei saisi olla liian leveä. Toisaalta jos jätän niihin hieman pitutta (ei ihan lyhyet, muttei pitkätkään kuten esim. Westwoodilla), niin varsi vois olla aika pop, vai mitä?
