Inspired by Ann Demeulemeester

Ann Demeulemeester is one of those designers with a signature look: not often you can see anything but black and white in her collections and the silhouette stays the same throughout the years. Consistency is what she has been able to create, leaving her audience with a feeling of familiarity and comfort. I, among many others, am a huge fan and always awaiting what new she can bring into the well balanced base of what seems to be "a horseback riding outfit with a twist".

Intrigued by her latest and last year's winter collection, the outfit of today got an Ann Demish touch to it. This grey vest has been getting a lot of wear lately, it's something I picked up from the local second hand store during it's discount days. Layered with the black H&M Trend blazer which I bought about three years ago from Sweden and never really wore until now, I've got the whole ensemble down with the white shirt, black pants and combat boots. Don't you just love it when you can find your favorite designer's look right from your own closet, without spending a penny!

Blazer: H&M Trend
Vest: Second hand

Heippa !
Quite wearable actually : and I guess the layering is a fairly good idea in the Finnish weather... I like the H&M blazer too though, even without the design-y accompanying clothes. I just love your white shirt, but this is something that I have wanted to tell you many times. I agree with almost everything, even the "break it all down" pose, but I must admit that I have never really gotten to like the combat boots. Tell me yet, is the Demeulemeester citation for real ? - so funny !

You are the best when it comes to taking inspiration from designers! All that layering is fab and I wouldn't mind having a similar vest :)

Hieno asu! Tyylikäs kokonaisuus, kerrokset toimivat tosi kauniisti ja muutenkin ihanasti yhdistelty! Ja sitaatti oli osuva - ainakin täällä sisäinen heppatyttö innostui ja ihastui heti :)

Daynacupcake: Thanks! The vest was a very good find, it's something you can see nowadays a lot yet I believe it might be from the 70's. The bow is actually part of the button-up, proving it's versatility once again. :)

NinaV: Awww, thank you sweetie!:)

Cafe Noir: We need to layer here since the coming of the spring got a little drawback called snow couple days ago. :( The citation is actually just my own observation; that would have been so funny if she admitted to that by herself. :D

Ann: Kiitos kovasti! Toivottavasti kerroksista päästään kuitenkin pian eroon ja tulisi jo se kevät!:)

Aya: Thanks!! It is pretty cool for second hand huh? :)

Linda sofia: Kiitti!:)

Lydia: Thanks, layers are my friend. ;)

Sugar Kane: No you cant't. ;) THanks dear!

Suna: Thanks! When I see something I love on the runway (that fits my style of course), I always try to find out a way to create or find something similar in my own closet. The vest is great, it works in so many ways. :)

Out of the mist: Thanks!!:)

Chisismo: If only I could get my hands on the real deal. ;) Thanks!

Ida: Oh, thank you!!:)

Juliet: Kiva kuulla, kiitos kovasti! :)

Snif. IHANA bloggendaar tämä.

Anonymous: Kiitos!:) Itseasiassa tukka on vaan nutturalla. ;) Mä huijaan teitä tälläin kätsästi, kun kerroksittain leikattu tukka antaa siihen mahdollisuuden. Voisin kyllä joskus tehdä tukkapostauksen, jossa näkyisi tuo mun vakionutturani. En kyllä osaa sanoa kuvista, että miksi latautuvat hitaasti. Kuvat ovat kyllä aika isoja tai sitten kuvaserveri on hitaalla...who knows. Sori!
