Cherry coloured funk
It's strange how the changing of seasons can totally affect the mood and the choices of color in people's dressing-up. For me a true sign of a fall is when I start craving for certain colors such as burgundy, green, orange and purple to my wardrobe's muted palette. Thereby this rainy, fall-like morning was the perfect opportunity for me to dig my dear cherry red oxfords (a.k.a. Cherry Bon Bons) out of the closet, in order to spicen up this otherwise quite generic work ensemble.

P.S. If you don't know where the title of this entry is taken from, and haven't heard of Cocteau Twins yet, I warmly recommend you to listen to this (and everything they have ever done). Such a perfect soundtrack for the end of the summer.

Kauniit sävyt asussa, me likes :)
Piti muuten tulla kertomaan stoori siitä harmaasta all saintsin mekosta (tai no mulle paita) mikä sulla oli sielä blogibileissä silloin päällä.... Se mun farkkutakkituunauksen mekko tosiaankin on se sama, en vaan tajunnut sitä kuin vasta suomessa :D löysin sen mega-alerekistä Selfridegsiltä ja nappasin sovittamatta mukaan tyylillä joku kiva pitkä reuhupaita 10 puntaa - eikun mukaan. Nooo sitten suomessa kun sovittelin peilin edessä kaikki matkalta napatut vaatteet niin hokasin että voi hele..! siis tietkö jotenkin leimaan sen mekon niin paljon suhun, että nyt osaa sitä itse käyttää :D Tuntuu ihan kuin olis lainavaatteissa!

Kaunis asu! Etenkin tuo Monkin paitapusero viehättää. Mulla on ilmiselvästi nyt joku paitamekko/paitapuseromania, hmm.
Toivottavasti vielä löytäisin noita, jahka syksyn edessä Tukholmaan pääsen.

Gosh you are making me a bit jealous with your fall gear ; it's still so hot that I still can't wear any trousers. As said earlier, it does not leave that much of choice for office wear - pen skirts and capris... I'm pretty much into vests too lately, it's enough and great to formalize a "basic" top and gives structure. Unfortunately closed shoes are quite hot too, even though I resist and use them at least couple of days per week instead of (flat) spartiat sandals... So I welcome the fall ! And thanks for the inspiration ! I like your shirt's colour quite a lot too.

Vimps: Mulla on ihan samanlainen mania päällä! Pakko saada lisää pitkiä paitapuseroita syksyksi. Toisaalta haluan myös karvaliivin, jodhpur-housut ja kaikkea missä on isot olkapäät. :) Eiköhän noita siellä Tukholmassa vielä ole, tuo kun oli käsittääkseni syksyn mallistosta. Niitä taisi olla myös muun värisinä. :)
Juliet: Thanks! :) I'm finding beige interesting again, the last time I was as much into it, was back in the 90's.
Cafe noir: I sort of wished it was still summer, as much as I love fall, I'm worried what's coming afterwards. Can't really stand winter time in Finland. I hear your pain though, if it's too hot you can't wear anything decent either. I tend to wear closed shoes in a hot weather too, just use talcum powder and cotton socks, they work wonders!:)
