I'm turning Japanese

Last week my boyfriend and I took a little bike trip to the local botanical garden. The area is so breathtaking that I really have to go there more often to take the outfit pictures. There are hundreds of flowers, a duck pond and a beautiful mansion in the middle of it all; truly a wonderful place to hang out on a sunny day.

As for my outfit, I was inspired by the japanese style (think Comme des Garcons or Yohji Yamamoto for example). For some reason, I'm really feeling the knee length skirts right now, even though I don't own so many at the moment (note to myself: must to get more of those!). As you might notice, I straightened my hair a wee bit after a year long break (!) but I have to admit that I prefer it when it's wavy; it's so much more softer that way. However, the straight look completes the outfit on this occasion.

Tomorrow I'm going to the capital city Helsinki to do some discount shopping, and after that I'm heading to a little coastal city called Hamina to enjoy the last days of my summer holiday. On Friday when I'm back from my trip, I will have a little treat for you guys, so stay tuned...

Japanese Whispers! Hanging Garden! Snow in the Summer! Lovecat! You look lovely, in that special, Japanese-in-Europe-listening-to-the Cure kind of way.

Have a fun trip to Helsinki - let's meet up for gossip and giggles soon!!

Noniin, täällä taas :) Näen luultavasti painajaisia pitsitrumpettihousuista, joista kerroit...semmosta tulin vaa kysymään (en oo ehkä ainoa) et miten sulla voi olla joka toinen päivä pitkä tukka ja sit taas lyhyt?!

Onko ne klipsit? Harkitten nimittäin itte semmosia, kunhan saan tän Soundsin Maja= toinen puoli lyhyt vaiheen eka elettyä.

I pretty much dig this look, the reason is simple - black in great cut, grey in a ++comfort fabrics... the hair, the hat. How funny : I have the same skirt, just love it because it sometimes looks like a short but is light to wear and the lenght is ideal. It truly has something Japanese in it, straight Ys somehow.
It is also quite nice wore with black shirt and huge belt. I might also add platform wedges such as those you bought from Barcelona...

NinaV: Awww, thanks. I wish!:)

Domennie: Thank you!:)

Sugar Kane: Oh yes yes yes! I'm glad you see the meaning and the personal preferences behind this look. :) Gossip and giggles sounds good!

Lindasofia: Hauska yhteensattuma. :) Toi on jäänyt aika vähälle käytölle pituutensa takia, mutta nyt se on alkanut taas kiinnostaa.

Farrah: Yes, enjoying the last days of summer!:)

Elsa: Heh. ;)

Avantgardigans: Kiitos tiedosta! Me likey a lot!:)

Valencia Lia: Thanks! The flowers are truly beatiful, they had literally like hundreds of different roses alone.

Stylebrownie: That's so nice to hear, thanks!:)

Frickys: Thanks, maybe I will. ;) Just gotta style it more. I love what you did to yours! Chopped lengths is the new blog trend for sure!

Ashley: Maybe, or minimalistic 90's. ;) Thanks!

Cafe noir: Thank you, I love the outfit for the same reasons. :) The skirt is cool and very versatile. I also have worn it higher with a belt and now lower (as it's supposed to be worn I guess?) in this look. It does look kinda like harem shorts! :) I might try it with those wedges sometime. :)

Tsipi: Kiitos kovasti!:)

Nataly R: Heh, I love dressig up and costume parties, so I guess that kind of transfers onto my personal style as well. :) Thanks!
