Guided by soft tones

The past few days have been pretty lazy since my boyfriend is still recovering and we have been unable to go out.

On days like these, relaxed and simple dressing is what most would crave for. These Monki pants which I have both in grey and black, are perhaps the most comfortable garment in my closet. I paired them with a powder pink tee that I had purcahsed from H&M in Helsinki. The tee is actually really well-made with a double layer, different patches and it even contains the shoulder pads that are making a huge comeback. To make this look more chic and less soft (=more me), I added the black suede platform booties.

It's funny that I have been rocking this look for awhile now and when I recently bought the latest Elle UK, I noticed a piece about trying out the "harem pants" trend. The outfits they came up with (basic tee, the pants and platform booties) were very similar to mine; now I wonder, coincidence or telepathy?

Same cultural etc influences on both you and Elle on subconcious level? ;) I know, I watch too much Derren Brown. Anyways, you look fantastic, I love the simplistic look and the tender colorss ^^

Idhren: Thanks! ;) Haha, Derren Brown is great! I'm sure the stylist of Elle and I are both inspired by catwalks but it's just funny how both outfits had so many same elements. Subconsious in the case of Elle, concious in the case of catwalks. :D

Clareassiral: Thank you so much!:)

Sorry, I didn't notice your comment about Yesterday shop until now.
In fact, I have been visiting it. However, I felt a little intimidated over there :----D I guess I'm not being the only one, though. It's still a real treasure chest.
By the way, what happened to that blazer you had on your eBay store? I was so determined to get it :(

Telepathy, of course! You look fantastic in those trousers. I like these kinds of pants better than the complete drop-crotch ones.

Maria: The shop is a bit intimidating, well at least the owner and the prices. :D The auctions ended this weekend but the items that didn't sell will be available soon again. We are making some changes with our shop, so stay tuned. ;) The blazer can still be yours..

Nancy: Heh, indeed. Thank you very much. I like this kind of pants better as well.. The complete drop-crotch is a bit scary.
