Greetings from Ruisrock and the sunny Turku! I have now officially seen Kent, the National and Interpol live. All the gigs were amazing and the weather was surprisingly sunny, considering it was originally supposed to rain that day.
I wanted a comfortable outfit, especially with comfortable shoes, since you have to walk few kilometres to the festival area. So, I wore my high waisted shorts with a band tee and Converse chucks (which by the way with skinny jeans, seemed to be the uniform of most of the indie kids who came to see the above mentioned shows). In the night it got very cold, so I brought my Monki abstract sweater to keep me warm.

Strangest thing happened while I was watching the Interpol show: a reader of my blog approached me and gave me a hug. How on earth could she spot me in the middle of hundreds of people? I thought it was really cute, so hi to you again, whoever you are! I also found out that I was spotted by an ex-fashion blogger on my way walking to the area, how cool! Small world, or festival, I shoud say...
P.S. My new camera arrived today, meaning better quality photos to come.

Kitten: I got the Canon Power Shot G9, its closest to SLR from the digital cameras with 12.1 MP and RAW. It was recommended by Ranna from Only Shallow. Good luck with the camera hunt!:)
Lydia: Yeah, I think its very common uniform among indie kids. It was just strange that there were so many of them, usually festivals are filled with pretty strange looking people or at least a variety of people. I was lusting for thos green Chucks for a long time, finally found them from the States. Purple ones are really cute too.

Oi voi voi, Interpol olisi ollut niin hieno nähdä livenä! muutenkin Ruisrockissa oli paljon mielenkiintoisia esiintyjiä, mutta tässä iässä mennään jo periaatteella että yhdet festarit kesässä ja ne meni jo Provinssissa :)

hei. minäkin sattumoisin bongasin sut interpolin keikalla sen jälkeen kun paikkaa oli tullut vaihdettua muutamaan otteeseen. ja olenpahan nähnyt sua Yo-talollakin pari kertaa. hehee, nimmaria en ole kuitenkaan tullut vielä pyytämään! enkä ole osannut mitään vielä sanoa, tännekään aiemmin. blogikin kun on vielä vähän alkutekijöissään.
Sarakissa: Voi se keikka oli tosi hyvä, meikäläinen pomppi siellä ihan innoissaan (muut ei hehe). Tuo periaatteesi on kyllä ihan hyvä ja viime vuonna oli sama meininki (tosin Monsters of Poppia ei lasketa tähän lukuun). Tänä vuonna on kuitenkin pakko hieman lipsua ja katsastaa Kings of Convenience Flow-festareilla. Siis ihan pakko!
